Any suggestions for products to preserve old cards while maintaining
usefulness in an active card catalog system?

5x8 index size cards have been used for our catalog since the 1800's.
The majority are yellowed, brittle and loosing material off the edges.
Although we hope to get a collections management computer system soon,
it will take time to get the data in. Until the data is in and
verified, it is impractical to print new cards and archive the older
versions. Thanks for the help.
