I know of some other web job postings for folks to check out. Forgive me if
you already are aware of these web sites:

http://members.tripod.com/~DrDrum_2/Globe3.html

http://seeing2020.com/museums/jobs.html

And for those seeking government museum positions (which tend to pay higher
then private institutions - some good news for a change) the Smithsonian, or
the National Gallery of Art, or the U.S. Memorial Holocaust Museum, or the
US Park Service - which runs several historic sites, (just to name a few)
please go to http://www.fedworld.gov/jobs/jobsearch.html and type in your
key word for the job search (museum, Smithsonian, archives, history,
etc...). The government resume requirements aren't as complicated or
involved as they used to be, but it is, however, still a bit daunting if
you're not used to compiling a federal resume. I'd be happy to help anyone.

Please note, the Library of Congress posts their own job openings (including
conservation and collections positions) directly on their web site at
www.loc.gov
