I think I had a good internship also.  I was pretty clear when I came in for an
interview that I wanted to do more than label artifacts (which I ended up doing
a little bit, but it wasn't the bulk of
my experience) and that, indeed, I could give them substantially more than just
manual labor.  I had a great supervisor, too.  Maybe this is a common thread to
good internship experiences.

(By the way, an internship is a requirement in my program and most are of the
unpaid, no stipend type)
