Look, it's obvious we're not all going to agree on this.  Could we please
drop it?  I am new to this discussion list and was looking forward to how
much I would learn about museum work.  I did not join so that I can hear
people talking about the war in Iraq and whether it is wrong or right.  If I
want to hear that, I can turn on the news.

I'm not the only one on this list who feels this way.  "Ldewey," whoever you
are, obviously this is something you feel very strongly about; however, this
isn't the place to discuss your views on the war.  If you want to talk about
whether or not museum should accept items brought back from Iraq, go right
ahead.  If you want to talk about body counts or what are soldiers are doing
over there, go someplace else, please, please, please.
