someone here know as miguel, strikes me as one who prefers to write much
more than to read. for had he carefully read my posts, he would be aware
that what i advocate is that no group (white males included) be excluded
under the pretense of including other groups.

i prefer to be considered as kjk primarily. if you prefer to be
considered primarily as a member of an ethnic group, that is your
business. i do not feel comfortable reducing you to that.

in my ideal world, museums will hire those most suitable for attaining the
specific goals of those institutions. if a primary goal of a given museum
is to attract audiences of various cultural origins, it just may be that
those most likely to achieve that goal (and thus, the most qualified for
employment) will be of those origins.

in my least ideal world, museums (and other employers) will hire and
refuse to hire staff, interns, etc. solely on the basis of ethnicity and
gender and ignore larger issues of community involvement to the detriment
of both the institutions and the communities.

* i find it very presumptive of you to address me as "Mr." when i give no
indication of my gender.

*i have never expressed the slightest concern for nor have i ever used the
term "White male minority." i find it equally presumptive that you
mischaracerize my views as such.

in the future, i prefer that you respond only to what i write and not to
what you would have liked for me to write in order to give more
credibility to your statements.

if you have any sense of honor, you will offer and apology for
mischaracterizing my posts.

i offer my own apologies to those who view this list hoping to avoid
seeing flame wars. however, i can not in good conscience let
mis-statements about me and my views go unanswered.

kjk (inviting you to put as much thought into your reading as you do into
your writing.)
