The New York Academy of Medicine Library has 12 exhibition cases available
for free to any non-profit taker. They are various different sizes,
although most of them are 7' x 2.5', a few 6' x 2.5'; mostly flat, although
two are slanted. The "disassemblable" bases are constructed of painted wood
(tasteful gray and mauve) with linen backgrounds and plexiglass vitrines.
Some cases are in better shape than others. The taker(s) may have as many
or as few of them as desired provided they can transport them away from a
midtown Manhattan location by August 11 or so.
