Hello everyone!

My question today regards the use of an historic house museum. What rental
policies, including fee structures, do other such museums that you work
with or know of have? We are trying to decide on limitations for use and
rental in the interest of preservation. We do feel that groups that would
add an interesting component to the programming, such as the needlework
guild, might coninue to hold their events at the house. Also, we are
currently having the floors refinished and are considering having everyone,
or possibly just those with hard-soled shoes, wear shoe covers or something
similar while touring the house. What would all of you recommend? Is
there a particular product found to be effective for this? Feel free to
reply off-list if you prefer. Many thanks!
