Susan,
San Diego Mesa College, a community college, has an AA in museum studies. I
completed the courses they had but never went and pulled the paper work for
an AA (I have a BA in Art History).  However the problem in San Diego is that
there  isn't a program locally to transfer those credits into for a BA in
Museum Studies.  The professor who started the courses is now with the
University Art Gallery at UCSD.  UCSD's website is UCSD.org, just follow
their links and email her.
