Ok, dear museum-l members,

second try (I can't believe, that there are that few
CD-ROM-production-experienced people out there):

I'm preparing a paper for a late May conference of the
German Documentation Association on "Multimedia-CD-ROMs in Art and
Museums". That's why I would be very gratefull to receive some information
on recent CD-ROM-productions from publishers, consultants and
especially from museum staff.

I'm interested in facts and data from questions like:
How long did the whole project run?
How many people were involved - how many of the own staff?
What were the overall costs?
How was the publishing organized?
How big was the edition and how many were sold at what price?
etc. etc. etc.

All data You forward to me could be useful and enlightening to the more
or less unexperienced german museum-folks (in case of CD-ROM-productions).
We definitely want to learn from Your experiences. Of special interest are
current projekts and those from the last two years. I would also welcome Your
suggestions for CD-ROMs which You think are worth to be presented at this
german conference.

Please get in contact!
Thanks ! Norbert
