Interesting that you brought up the "Left Behind" series. This is an 
example of how the fundamentalist christians are winning.  My mother is 
an elementary school librarian and a couple of years ago she brought 
back the list of the top selling or most read or some type of "top-of" 
list that had the Left Behind books at the top.  This was a list of 
nonfiction books for elementary schools.  I repeat NONFICTION!!!  This 
is a war and "they" are winning.  Left Behind = Nonfiction.  Creationism 
= Fact.  This is indeed a scary country.
