There were very few responses to a question raised by a Global Museum reader
(http://www.globalmuseum.org) on the subject of Museum Studies Courses in
either Italy or Greece. These are they:

** This is probably not what you are looking for. However, just in case,
the Peggy Guggenheim Museum (modern art museum) in Venice, Italy has
internships that you could look into. Good luck, Tina Cosby

** Dr. Euridyce Retsila teaches museum studies courses at the University of
the Ionian (some name like that) in Corfu. (Ed:
http://www.corfuhomepage.com/periferia/introuni.htm) There are other museum
studies courses offered in Athens. Annette B. Fromm, independent museum
consultant

** General courses in Florence (Harding University International Studies
curriculum) http://www.harding.edu/~intlstudies/courses.html#part2

** General courses in Greece (Harding University International Studies
curriculum) http://www.harding.edu/~intlstudies/courses.html#part3

** Arts and Sciences in Italy

** http://www.studyabroad.com/simplehtml/subj/museum_europe.html

** Directorate of Museum Studies (Athens)

Hope the above helps and if anyone else has ideas, our correspondents would
like to hear from you.

Roger
