I was wondering how many museums out there have there own program development
or fund raising staff person. I recently attended a meeting, where it was
said that MANY
musuems have such, i.e., a staff member who just writes grants, raises money,
etc. For smaller museums, this will even make it more competitive to obtain
funding, when there is not enough funds to pay such a person...and all the
larger museums are activity getting the funding.
