On Tuesday, October 16 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., the Tri-State Coalition
of Historic Places will offer "Museum Shops 101" at the Education Center
of Valley Forge National Park in Valley Forge, PA.  

This program is directed towards shop personnel, staff, and volunteers
in small to medium-sized museums and historic sites.

Topics to be addressed include record keeping, shop design, profit and
mission, inventory controls, product development, and merchandise
selection.

Fees are $10 for Tri-state members and $15 for non-members.  To
register, send your check(s) along with your name(s), institutional
affiliation, address, phone number, and email before October 9 to:
