I'm researching the history of the Musee d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris
without much success, and was wondering if anyone out there was familiar
with the museum and/or the particular topic and might be able to point me
in the right direction.  Information on how the public received and
conceived the museum would be of especial interest, but anything would be
appreciated.  Also, if anyone knows of good recent work on natural
history museums, I'd welcome suggestions.
