TO HEIDI ANDERSON: The corporate archives for Frigidaire located in
Dayton, OH were transferred to the Corporate Headquarters of General
Motors in Detroit when Frigidaire was sold. You may be able to find
schematics for the refrigerator you are working with in that collection.
According to the Director of the Montgomery County Historical Society,
Brian Hackett, there were "truckloads" of engineering papers, corporate
records, etc. that went to Detroit from Dayton.
Also FYI, the Montgomery County Historical Society has 2 Frigidaire
Refrigerators in its collection--one from the mid-1930s, the other from
the 1940s. If you would like to correspond with the Historical Society
regarding any further information they might have, contact:

   Brian Hackett, Director
   Montgomery County Historical Society
   7 N. Main Steet
   Dayton, OH 45402-0461
   (513) 228-6271

I hope this helps and my apologies for sending this message to the entire
list. Good Luck!
