Laurence Jarvik wonders what the debate over Congressional support for PBS &
 NPR has to do with museums. I think it has a great deal to do with museums:
public television and radio are struggling for support and funding in the
same cultural and political climate as museums. They face similar issues
trying to justify their existance to a public sceptical at best of anything
art related. They (especially PBS) support living, working artists - an issue
in which I hope museums would take an interest.
