Executive Director
The Evanston Art Center, the oldest and largest community art center in
IL, seeks dynamic Executive Director to provide artistic vision and
leadership.  The EAC is a thriving contemporary art facility serving the
greater Chicago metropolitan community.  The EAC is devted to te
teaching and exhibition of contemporary visual arts.  It is ranked first
in IL by the IL Arts Council for the excellence of its exhibition and
educational programs and for its broad based community support.  The
Director must have contemporary arts curatorial experience in addition
to skills in staff management, operations, budgets and educational
programming.  Additional skills required are grant writing, fund
raising, public speaking and the building of relationships with artists
and the community.  Salary is commensurate with experience.  Send cover
