The National Society of the Colonial Dames of American has 62 historic
properties, many of which have excellent collections of toys, children's
furniture and dolls.

Dear Kate,

Lacking an email address, I too am responding to the list-serve - my
apologies to those with cluttered inboxes.

A friend and colleague of mine at the University of Delaware is researching
children's toys for her dissertation. I am sure that she would have many
good leads for you. Her name is Bryn Varley Hollenbeck; if you would like
her contact information, please get back to me. I will check with her to
make sure it is ok to pass along her email address (I doubt very much that
she would have a problem with it) and then get back to you. Please respond
to me off-list at <[log in to unmask]>

Hillary Murtha

PS I assume that Bryn isn't your sister? That I am not recommending as a
contact person the person on whose behalf you are inquiring? The two topics
sound frighteningly similar, but I know that Bryn has already completed most
of her research.
