The DuPage County Historical Museum in Wheaton, Illinois, seeks a
full-time Museum Educator, job code #6118. Responsibilities include:
planning and implementing Museum's education program for schools as well
as family activities, special events, and adult programs; serving as
volunteer coordinator; assisting visitors with research questions;
providing interactive components for exhibit development; and
participating in numerous general projects that develop in an active
museum with a small staff. Requirements include: Master's degree in
Museum Studies or related field and 2 to 3 years hands-on education
programming experience in a museum setting or combination of training and
experience. Excellent teamwork, verbal and written skills required.
Works directly with children and families. Salary range $27,000-$32,000.
