Hi, Michael and friends.

Thanks for posting the note, Michael. I heard of the Science City
project through the grapevine, but couldn't find anything on the
search engines.

Here's some very subjective *opinions* that may be of some use:

The speed of loading is very nice for those of us still puttering
around with a 14.4 modem. In some cases you may wish to speed things
a bit more by converting large graphics to the smaller Jpeg format if
scrolling is not expected, For example, rend01.gif and rend02.gif. I
try to do this at my web site, and use the interlaced gif for larger
images so that the visitor can scroll before the graphic is finished.

As a long time planetarium person, I thought the astronomy news is an
excellent public service. OTOH, How about some photos of the
planetarium facility itself? It might be a reminder for those who
intend to come back for another show, but never get around to it.

Best wishes,
Jeff
