Dear colleagues;

I have been asked by Anne Pennington who is responsible for visitor studies for
National Museums & Galleries on Merseyside for some help. Anne is looking for
any research that may have been done in cultural institutions (or related
institutions) on the interests of Caucasian visitors in exhibitions dealing
with other races/cultures - achievements, civilization, culture etc. her
organization is looking at ways of presenting their African collections. They
are aware, for instance of the interest of Black sitcoms to non-Black
audiences.

Anne's email address is [log in to unmask] but she says it often
doesn't work. You could reach her by fax at +44 151 478-4777 or phone at +44
151 478-4623. The snailmail address is: National Museums and Galleries on
Merseyside, Central Services, PO Box 33, 127 Dale Street, Liverpool L69 3LA,
United Kingdom, but if you do use this means, please use airmail, as surface
mail still apparently crosses the pond via the slow boat to China.

Thanks to anyone who can help her.
