Fillmore and Geary, the heart of the Fillmore, there stands THE Fillmore.
The original.  Fillmore West, not even on Fillmore, or anywhere near it, is
now a movie theater (the Regency II, I believe), and the beloved Winterland,
has ceased to exist.

For a tad more trivia, there is now a Ben and Jerry's ice cream shop, on the
corner of Haight and Ashbury, right accross the street from the Gap clothing
store.
