The City Reliquary, in the Williamsburg Neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, has an ongoing rotation of exhibits focused on the often eccentric collections of their neighborhood's residents. You can visit their website here: http://www.cityreliquary.org/

A very interesting "grassroots" style "museum."

Keni:
The New York State Museum had an exhibit concerning kids collecting. I am
not sure if it was done in conjunction with the education programs of the
Museum or the exhibition team, but in any case Craig Williams of the State
Museum might be able to direct you: he has always been very helpful to us.

Hello All,

Does anyone know of exhibits on collecting that have been displayed in
recent years?

Thanks,
