Oddly enough, the consensus at our houses is that we see more single women than we do single men. We are in an area that's based heavily on tourism so our primary visitation comes from families and groups but its definitely more single women. Usually, they're in town on business or from out of town and wanted to see something of the place before they go back home. Of the single men, they are usually history buffs who have already done a lot of reading about the time period or a similar time period. These are generalities and don't encompass our entire single male and female visitation. Perhaps the differences are regional in nature and has to do with societal variations as well as economics.
