There are probably a million cataloging software programs on the market.
Of the ones I know:

SNAP is a program produced by Willoughby Associates. I don't know the
contact address, but probably someone else will.

ARGUS is a cataloging program produced by Questor Systems in southern CA.
I have the contact address if you'd like it. It's an expensive system but
good. We are installing this system next month.

REGIS is a cataloging program produced by Museum Research Associates in
Maine. I also have that address if you'd like to contact them for
information. I like this program and the people who make it.

Oaktree Specialists or Software in Florida is another cataloging system
I've seen in use and it too looks good. I can find that address if you
like.

E-mail me for addresses. I simply recommend that you shop around and get
many opinions on what works for your type of collection. I'm sure some are
more geared to art or history or natural history than others. There are
many prices to choose from as well.
