I was just going through my notebook of web sites to find a few
favorites and thought that I'd forward my list to you all.  Are there
other favorites out there?

        this is NYC's tenement museum.  You click on the windows of the
tenement building and meet immigrant families that used to live there.
You also see artifacts that were left behind when the tenement closed.

        this is the Chicago Historical Society.  They have a "web of
memory" about the Chicago fire.  You can read about the fire from
different points of view (the O'Leary's, eyewitnesses, media, etc).

        Monticello.  You can go through the day in the life of Thomas
Jefferson

        This is for the Smithsonian's "Seeds of Change" exhibit.  It is
