Again the website of Siegl's Bookstore has been thoroughly
updated at

   http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/siegl/

The bilingual (German/English) section on "Restoration & Museology"
offers

 -- Online-versions of Siegl's mail order catalog
    "Books on Restoration/Conservation & Museology"
    (publications in German, English, Italian...):

-- The index is hypertext now (as the table
of contents): just click on a keyword in the
left frame and you get the respective book
       in the right one

-- This index contains also much more keywords than
the one in the printed version of the catalog

-- Now you can download the whole catalog "Books on
Restoration & Museology" as a (zipped) Adobe Acrobat
file: view and print the catalog in its original layout
_and_ work with it as "clickable" hypertext at the same
time, search for subjects you are interested in and use
all the advantages of having the whole thing on your own
computer (you'll need version 3 of the free Acrobat Reader
do this which is also available via the website)

-- There's a new Internet NEWSLETTER for "Books on Restoration"
(supplements to the catalog, also distributed by e-mail)

-- A listing of Web-Links, Newsgroups, Upcoming Events (you
are invited to add whatever you think is relevant to this
    subsection)

You can view most of this site with any browser. To use it effectively,
though, we strongly recommend Netscape Navigator 2 or higher and
a screen resolution of at least 800x600 pixels.

With kind regards,

Siegl's Bookstore
Thomas Diehl
