The Smithsonian Center for Education and Museum Studies (SCEMS) is currently recruiting a Program Evaluator. The Program Evaluator is responsible for identifying and implementing pan-institutional evaluation strategies to determine the effectiveness of the Smithsonian's education efforts and assisting in pan-institutional professional development on evaluation and audience research.
Major duties will include:

·         Identify program type(s) for evaluation, and make recommendations on design and implementation of evaluation projects.

·         Execute approved evaluation projects, coordinate design and logistics; collect and enter data; produce reports; and present information as principal investigator or as a principal liaison with outside experts.

·         Create and deliver training on developing learning outcomes for education programs. Assist in creating and delivering training on evaluation and audience research.

Located in Washington, DC, SCEMS is a vibrant and friendly Unit, which interacts and works with all the other Smithsonian Units, Research Centers and Departments.


SALARY RANGE: $51,630.00 - $81,204.00 /year
