Charles H. MacNider Art Museum
Mason City, Iowa

The MacNider Art Museum seeks a senior arts administrator with strong 
leadership skills for its next director.  AAM-accredited, the museum's 
outstanding collection includes America's most recognized 19th & 20th 
century artists as well as a major collection of world-famous puppet master 
Bil Baird's puppets and marionettes.  With a full time staff of seven, a 
part time staff of three, and an annual budget of $550,000, the MacNider is 
municipally governed in affiliation with the supportive community board. 
Qualified candidates must have a successful record in institutional 
planning, personnel management, and financial management; a minimum of five 
years' museum administration experience at the senior level; and advanced 
degree.  Demonstrated skills in team building, public outreach, and 
communication desired.  Starting salary of $60,000 plus excellent benefits.
