It has been my understanding that a foundation of scientific theory is ability
to recreate results. As in, Scientist A does an experiment, says Eureka!, and
publishes an article. Scientist B reads the article, follows A's original
methodology and and achieves the same results. Then we say, 'ah ha! this is
something which science can stand behind, like the law of gravity.'

The Journal of Judeo-Christianity, Vol. 1, No. 2, describes Moses going to Mt
Sinai and receiving the Ten Commandments. No one has ever managed to
recreate this result.

And while I'm being snarky, let me also say you may wish to consult the
Conservapedia ("The Trustworthy Encyclopedia) for proper definitions of faith
(http://www.conservapedia.com/Faith), belief
(http://www.conservapedia.com/Belief) or theory
(http://www.conservapedia.com/Theory).
