Since my first posting on the subject of RED EGGS & GINGER, we have received
some fascinating insights into various cultural traditions.

These range from an early Dutch method of contraception using two bricks and
nutmeg ( I kid you not!), to not being able to wash one's hair for a whole
month after a birth
