Salary: Surrey C pro rata


£14136-15882 (half-time, 18 hours p/w) A capable, reliable and organized museum professional is needed to provide support to the Museums Development Officer in developing museums in Surrey. You should hold a museums qualification (NVQ 3 or above), or have several years museums experience (perhaps as a volunteer). You must be computer literate, have a good eye for detail, good communication skills and enthusiasm for museums of all types. Flexibility and a willingness to undertake some routine work is paramount. Experience of training delivery, printing/publishing, the internet, and access issues are desirable. Willingness to self-develop and learn new skills an advantage. The post is permanent. It may be possible, by mutual agreement, to extend the hours worked. There is some flexibility over how many hours per day, and which days a week are worked. The post is based at the Surrey History Centre, Woking, and may involve occasional travel to museums and outside meetings.  Usual UK employment regulations apply.
