CHIEF CURATOR FOR EXHIBITIONS.  McKissick Museum, University of
South Carolina.   An advanced curatorial position responsible
for an extensive program of in-house and traveling exhibitions.
Duties included writing grant prosposals, formulating
interpretive materials, working with designers, and oversight on
departmental budgets and production deadlines.  Must have proven
exhibition experience and a willingness to work in a team system
with a diverse staff.  McKissick specializes in the
interdisciplinary presentation of material culture, folklife,
natural history, and art of the Southeast.  Academic background
in one of these areas is preferred.  Must have strong writing
skills and a thorough knowledge of curatorial methods.  Teaching
in Museum Studies program a possibility with appropriate
credentials.  Salary $26515+, depending on State of South
Carolina guidelines.  Excellent benefits packaage.  Submit letter
