Well, let me, for one, say on list that I thought the flame to Mr.
Marcavitch was uncalled for. He has participated actively on this list for
quite a while, and though I've never met him, I've followed his career
(wasn't it Massachusetts to Tennessee for grad. school?) through this list,
and have always enjoyed his enthusiasm and informality. Not an amateur at
all, in fact, but a professional who lets his personality and sense of
humor show. That's fine by me!
