MUSEUM COLLECTIONS INTERNSHIP AVAILABLE
SUMMER 2003

Part time, temporary internship at the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage
Center, Pennsburg, PA. 30 hours per week or 360 hours for a maximum 12
weeks; $3000 stipend.   Room, board transportation/relocation at intern’s
expense.   Graduate student, undergraduate junior or senior in museum
studies, American studies, American history, material culture studies,
Pennsylvania German studies or similar discipline required.
Intern will assist curator with organization and cataloguing of museum
collection in new facility.  Intern will have the opportunity to learn and
use PastPerfect cataloguing software and will be required to do some
lifting.  The Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center is located in northern
Montgomery County, approximately one hour from Philadelphia and is 5 miles
from the Quakertown exit of the PA Turnpike.
