There is an article in the Phoenix, our local independent newspaper, 
about the plunder of artworks--even a stained glass ceiling--and 
historic documents from the State House.

It's worth taking the time to read, both for the serious concerns it 
raises about how we in Massachusetts are protecting objects when they 
are in a quasi-museum setting, and as a tool for encouraging every 
government keeper of artifacts to (at the very least) maintain a decent 
inventory and report missing/stolen works to the Art Loss Register.
