Jim, regarding your query about the unexplained popularity of the UC
Berkeley Museum of Paleontology site, I can only surmise that the high
rate of visitation occurred in part because that site was originated by
Robert Guralnik, who you may remember as being VERY active and helpful
to us all in the earlier days of Museum-L. (I believe he either wrote a
Museum News article, or the site was featured in one... can't quite
remember which.) We don't hear as much from him these days on the list,
as I'm certain he's off doing his dissertation or some such thing, but I
for one would like to take this opportunity to thank him for the great
example he has set for us all in getting things on-line, as well as for
all of his technical advice which has usually turned out to be right on
target. Kudos to Rob G!
