Marblers' Gathering to be held August 11-13

Friday August 11 will be at the National Archives II (college park,MD)
with lectures from conservators, Don Guyot of Colophone BOOK ARTS SUPPLY
and tours of the conservation/restoration labs at the Archives.

Cocktails and Gallery opening on Friday at Savage Mill in Columbia, MD.

Exhibit will be open all weekend to the public (set up as a museum).

Also a Marblers' shop to sell the various marblers goods will be open
all weekend to the public.

Saturday will include lectures and demonstrations from various marblers:
Iris Nevins, Jake Benson (Harvard), NaryLynn Ritenthaler (Archives),
Meilena Huges, Deborah Evetts (Pierpont Morgan Library New York),
Mimi Schleicher and Diane Maurer (just to name a few).

Lunch and dinner will be served as part ot the conference. Fee: $175
for the entire weekend.  Sunday will continue more lectures and good byes.

Deadline for conferernce will be July 15, 1995 (some can still register
at the door for $200).

Gallery exhibit slides or photos deadline is June 30 (everyone invited
to participate, even non-attendees)  Send all requests and into the
