Yup, after dragging yourself through college and graduate programs, it
would seem that museum professionals ought to earn lots better than what
organizations are willing to pay.  But did you hear about the pilots out
in Long Beach Harbor?  They earn a "measly" $135,000 and for the trouble
they go through to park the ships on the docks they wanted $195,000!  All
union labor.  Now I'm not advocating union labor, but maybe our friends
out there in San Francisco who unionized themselves can explain to us if
that's the way to go.
