I am writing a Truman scholarship application and I need information about
the utilization of computers and new technology in museums, especially in
smaller museums. If you are in a small museum, when did you acquire a
computer, how difficult a process (financially or otherwise) was it, and what
do you use it for?

I also need to know if the government has taken any action in this area. Are
there any NEH grants specifically for funding to buy computers or software?
Pardon my ignorance in this area if that question didn't make any sense.

Lastly, does anyone have any statistics on what percentage of museums have
computers, or any other related statistics?

Thank you.
