I would back up what Ellen Cartlee just said and also add that a product
called Parafilm is very good as a jar thread liner since in is a bit stretchy and
will conform to the shape of the opening rather well.

You should note the consistency of the B-72 when you first open it. As the
solvent evaporates just add a bit of acetone back into the bottle and stir it
thoroughly to return the resin to its original viscosity. This way you can
preserve the B-72 supply and lessen the danger of it drying out on you. Resins like
B-72 should be checked once a week to ensure that they are not excessively
drying out - otherwise you may enjoy the frustration of having a completely
hardened bottle just when you need it.

Cheers!
Dave
