Peter - Absolutely. We are currently hosting an exhibition of contemporary
Japanese quilts that may prove to be one of our most successful exhibits
ever! The first run of over 125 catalogs alone sold out within less than a
week of opening. Quilt enthusiasts have traveled from all over the Midwest
and beyond to see this show. They also tend to buy a lot of merchandise
and they are typically very interested in attending any related programming
you may develop as well (gallery tours, artists at work, etc.).

And, as others have already pointed out, quilters travel to Paducah, KY and
Houston, TX every year for major national and international quilt festivals
that often feature contemporary quilt artists.
