+++ Specialist in Prints +++

For the London office of our internationally renowned auction house
client, we are seeking a Specialist in Prints.

The successful candidate will work with the Department Head to generate
business, develop and maintain client relationships and consignments,
with a focus on Contemporary work; research and catalogue works for
public and private sales; work on catalogue production and layout;
review inquiries for consignment opportunities; serve as a primary
liaison for outside experts; prepare condition reports and conservation
evaluations; coordinate marketing efforts; assist in pre-sale exhibition
set-up; assist clients in the galleries during sale week; other duties
as necessary. Some travel required.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4-6 years experience with prints
with a focus on the Contemporary market, and proven appraisal and
business getting skills. BA in art history required, MA preferred.
Facility with European languages preferred. Excellent communications,
interpersonal and organizational skills essential.
Salary 45-55K with excellent benefits.
