Take a look at Past Perfect Software ( http://www.museumsoftware.com )
for an affordable Museum specific application that will handle both
museum collections and membership groups. It is very easy to use, and
will do lots of built in reports and searches for you. A demo version
is available, and includes their internet conversion software (which
exports data to HTML automatically).
