I am wondering if any Museums have dealers serving in an advisory
capacity on their Collections Committee. I want to allow them on the
Committee as advisors from time to time, but the Chairman says it
represents a Conflict of Interest.

I need to provide evidence that other Museums have them on their
Committees. Please respond to me and let me know what provisions your
institution has made to enable dealers to serve in some way, but avoid c
of i.
