Again yesterday we were asked by a local citizen for direction to a
museum that would hold a certain subject area - this time caribbean
materials.  The subject index in the AAM directory is hopeless.  The
announcement of a "Gun Collections" list is a good case in point.
     Could the directory come out on cd with an extended subject field
(and make it searchable?)  Seems there should be a better finding method
than guessing who might have something.
