For anybody who's interested, here is how you can find out how your
legislators voted on the Shadegg amendment (to cut NEH funding) last week:

1)  ask your legislator

2)  look it up in the Congressional record (Thursday, June 20)

You can do both electronically.  Legislators' e-mail addresses can be
accessed through the house gopher (house.gov).  You can get the record
through the Library of Congress web site, which includes the Thomas
legislative service.

3)  you can ask me.
