Those interested in the museum robots discussion:

In 1996, the National Atomic Museum in Albuquerque, New Mexico ran an
exhibit on the history of robots and the robotic industry. If I recall
correctly, the exhibit had numerous interactive components.

Although I am not involved, my institution is in the process of acquiring
an interactive robot to greet museum visitors. If anyone so desires, I
will provide the name of a contact person.
