Hello Museum-L-users,

I am currently researching the International Sculpture Competition
for a Monument to the Unknown Political Prisoner, London 1951 - 1953,
for a PhD at Manchester University.

My search for artists who participated in this competition was
successful in many cases, but not very fruitful in many others.
Therefore, I would like to ask everybody whether they know anything
about the following sculptors and sculptresses who were active in the
1950s.
If you know anything about them, or know somebody who might do, or
know the address of the artist, or of their estates or of surviving
relatives, or of a museum that owns work by them, please reply to me
off- list or by snail- mail to: Art History Department, University of
Manchester, Oxford Road, Manchester M13 9PL, United Kingdom; Fax:
0044-161-275 3331 or 0049- 161-256 3912, TEL: 0044-161-225 9166.

Please forward this list to anybody you might think could help.
