CULTURES CONNECTED: AUTOMATING THE AMERICAS AND BEYOND Washington, DC: (CIDOC)
August 28-31; (MCN) August 31 - Sept. 3, 1994

News from the Planning Committee: MCN/CIDOC is pleased to offer a Sourcebook
for their 1994 Conferences. The Sourcebook is a photocopied publication of
relevant, written material submitted by conference speakers, country
representatives, and system demonstrators. It also includes materials offered
by groups or individuals unable to attend the conference but interested in
sharing their resources with the international museum community. It is a
valuable reference for conference participants as well as others who wish to
remain informed and share their expertise and concerns.

Whether or not you are attending the conference, we welcome your submissions
(in any language) by August 1 for inclusion in the Sourcebook. Sourcebook
material must include name, organization, and address on the first and last
pages of each submission. Submissions should be eight or fewer pages;
excluding a title page. Registrants may order the Sourcebook for $20 using the
Conference Registration form. After the symposium remaining copies will be
available through the Museum Computer Network for $20 plus shipping/handling.

For more information or to send your submission, please contact: Michelle
